Understanding Work Orders

At Simple Fulfillment, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive and efficient fulfillment services for growing eCommerce brands. To manage tasks that extend beyond our standard scope, we implement work orders.

What is a Work Order?

Work orders are designated for special projects outside our standard pick-pack, receiving, and shipping processes. These are handled by our specialized team, separate from the regular receiving, picking, and packing staff.

Examples of Work Order Tasks:

  • Kitting
  • FBA Prep work (non-quoted)
  • Custom projects
  • Re-boxing
  • SKU Transfers
  • Removal/Disposal

Utilizing work orders ensures the necessary resources and time are dedicated to completing these specialized tasks effectively.

How we bill

Rate: Work orders are billed at $45/hour per person. Necessary supplies like polybags, boxes, and polymailers are additionally billed.

Custom Quotes: For certain projects, we can provide a custom quote in advance.

Minimum Charge: Each work order has a minimum charge of $45, ensuring that the resources and effort for any task are justified, regardless of the total work time.
